Band of Horses tienen preparado su nuevo disco, Infinite Arms, que aparecerá el 18 de mayo, y su primer single es este Compliments, tema con algunos momentos que suenan bastante bien, pero que en general no me ha apasionado.
Si la canción me ha parecido un aprobado justito, el videoclip es un tema aparte.
En él podemos ver un conjunto de imágenes sobre la naturaleza que van cambiando utilizando el efecto morphing, con un resultado que a mi me ha parecido horroroso.
No es que esté mal rodado el vídeo, es que me parece aburridísimo y de una simpleza total.
Mal comienzo para el nuevo y esperado disco de la banda de Seattle.
Esperemos que el disco no siga la tonica de este single, porque sería una de las grandes decepciones de este año.
Everything All the Time y Cease To Begin me parecieron dos grandes discos y su estilo personal los hacía especiales, ahora con este sonido, me suenan a una típica banda de rock aburrida.
Pero esperaremos al disco completo antes de darlos por perdidos.
Puede ser sólo un pequeño bache.
