Hace pocos días que se estrenó el vídeo del tema Get Sexy, primer single del próximo álbum de las Sugababes, Reborn, que saldrá el 9 de noviembre.
Pues hoy ya os traigo una actuación en directo, no de este tema, sino del que será su próximo single, About A Girl, producido por el omnipresente RedOne, ya sabéis productor de Lady Gaga, Little Boots, Backstreet Boys o Livvi Franc.
Es curioso como un grupo que, de las tres integrantes iniciales sólo queda una, tenga una carrera tan sólida tras nueve años y preparando el séptimo álbum.
Está claro que cuando unos productores apuestan por un proyecto, las personalidades de los miembros del grupo quedan en un segundo plano.
A pesar de esa aparente artificialidad, hay un montón de canciones de Sugababes que me gustan, como por ejemplo este primer single Get Sexy.
Aunque suene a otros muchos temas, sigue a la perfección la línea de R&B y pop electrónico actual, pero más bailable y contundente.
En cambio, About A Girl, siguiendo la misma línea, no me acaba de motivar tanto, aunque reconozco que es súper efectivo.
No sé, será que comienzo a estar un poco saturado de las producciones de RedOne.
