Mientras medio mundo mainstream sigue hablando de las similitudes Born This Way-Express Yourself, el otro medio se debate entre la veneración o las arcadas ante el nuevo vídeo de Britney, Beth Ditto estrena un homenaje a Madonna en forma de videoclip para su tema I Wrote The Book.
El próximo 8 de marzo se espera que se ponga a la venta un EP de cuatro temas de Beth Ditto en solitario.
En lugar de contar con el resto de Gossip, Ditto se ha hecho acompañar por los cada vez más presentes Simian Mobile Disco para la producción de sus nuevos temas.
Bastante menos cargado de sexo y provocación, pero también en blanco y negro, vemos llegar a Beth Ditto al pasillo del hotel del enorme Justify My Love de Madonna.
Éste ha sido el escenario que la líder de Gossip ha escogido para situar este noventero y de sonidos house más clásicos I Wrote The Book que seguro creará urticaria a los fans de sus inicios más punk rock, pero que a mí personalmente me encanta.
