A finales de febrero, poco después de que se estrenase Give Me Everything, el tema que une a Ne-Yo con Afrojack, Pitbull volvió a hacer gala de su visión comercial con su propia versión de este tema.
Poco más de dos meses después, el de Miami ha estrenado el videoclip oficial de este Give Me Everything (Tonight), que ahora ha perdido por el camino el paréntesis, junto a su habitual bailarina/modelo/cantante Nayer.
Tengo que reconocer que en su momento, a pesar del potencial de esta canción, no tenía muy claro si se lanzaría como single oficial o incluso tendría videoclip.
Después de las varias versiones que ha hecho Pitbull de otras canciones, cuyos vídeos se basaban en un fondo blanco, cuatro bailarinas voluptuosas y él mismo delante de cámara, no esperaba algo como el de este Give Me Everything.
Para este nuevo vídeo, Pitbull no sólo ha contado el permiso de Afrojack y Ne-Yo para versionar su Give Me Everything, sino que ellos mismos han participado en el videoclip de esta versión oficial.
Un club, cuya decoración mezcla nave industrial y barroquismo, es el contexto de este vídeo donde vemos a Ne-Yo, Nayer y Pitbull cantando en sofás, escaleras o pista de baile, y como DJ residente al omnipresente productor y remixer holandés.
Aparte del exagerado product placement de Kodak, el videoclip no tiene nada de especial, pero reconozco que el tema se engancha, Ne-Yo tiene la culpa.
