Desde el momento que se pudo escuchar el tema completo de Michael Jackson This Is It, internautas de todo el mundo comenzaron a manifestarse en la red sobre un posible plagio ya que es clavada a la canción I Never Heard del propio Jackson coescrita con el compositor y cantante Paul Anka en 1983.
El tema se grabó en una demo en los estudios del propio Anka en California.
El tema finalmente no se grabó para ninguno de los dos artistas y fue en 1990 cuando la publicó la cantante Safire.
Si es que cuando montas un circo, lo normal es que te aparezcan enanos por todas partes.
Sony lo ha hecho fatal publicitando este This Is It como un tema inédito escrito únicamente por Michael Jackson, pero junto a los administradores de Jackson ha reaccionado a una velocidad que ni Usain Bolt porque ya está todo resuelto.
Digo esto porque en un día y ante las amenazas de Paul Anka, los administradores de Jackson, Paul Branca y John McClain, ya han reconocido que tiene razón y que Michael no podía haber escrito una canción así, porque no era su estilo.
¿El resultado de todo esto? Que el amigo Paul Anka le ha tocado el mega gordo de Navidad con el 50% de todo lo que genere la canción This Is It.
