El pasado 11 de julio en el show radiofónico de The Chris Moyles Show de la BBC Radio 1 Pixie Lott dio el pistoletazo de salida a la promoción de su nuevo single.
Se trata de All About Tonight del que, tras varios video teasers, desde hace unos minutos ya podemos ver el videoclip oficial en su canal VEVO de YouTube.
La británica vuelve este 2011 después del arrollador éxito de su disco debut del 2009, Turn It Up, con el que consiguió, entre muchos otros reconocimientos, colocar siete singles dentro del top 20 de la lista oficial del Reino Unido.
Por ello, el listón para un segundo disco, todavía sin fecha ni nombre, lo tiene por las nubes.
Por el momento, aparte de este primer extracto del álbum, se sabe que en este disco la británica seguirá experimentando con sonidos netamente pop, pero introduciendo algo más de soul.
Por el momento, este All About Tonight, soul, lo que entendemos por soul, poco.
Este nuevo single viene a responder a todos aquellos fans que le pedían que introdujese sonidos más dance y uptempos bailables en su próximo disco.
Sin venir a romper moldes, este tema es totalmente pegadizo y encaja a la perfección en la época estival que estamos.
En cuanto al videoclip, pues la verdad que lo primero que nos llama la atención es el corte del pelo y los diferentes peinados de Pixie Lott, ya sea con flequillo, peluca o repeinada hacia atrás.
La apuesta está clara, mostrarla mucho más bailarina, siguiendo coreografías y con una imagen mucho más sexy de lo que la habíamos vista hasta ahora.
Como intento está bien, guapa sale un rato largo, lo que sí que la encuentro un tanto ortopédica ejecutando ciertos pasos, sobre todo, en el baile nocturno callejero.
Aún así, me gusta esta nueva Pixie Lott.
