Hace unos días ya os traíamos el adelanto de Melanie C con Rock Me, primer single de The Sea, su nuevo trabajo, y si la canción me parecía muy pegadiza y con mucho ritmo, creo que el vídeo es bastante acertado y sin ofrecer nada especial, sabe contagiar la energía positiva de la cantante.
En el vídeo de Rock Me podemos ver a la Sport Spice en su salsa, rodeada de chicas jugando a fútbol mientras ella aparece bailando frente a un muro lleno de grafitis.
Al principio me ha resultado raro ver a tanta chica jugando a fútbol en el vídeo, hasta que he recordado que el tema ha sido escogido por una cadena de televisión alemana para promocionar el mundial femenino de fútbol.
Un entretenido vídeo para este Rock Me de Melanie C que podría ser un buen éxito para este verano por ser un tema tan pegadizo y bailable, aunque no creo que cuente con el apoyo necesario para ello.
Parece curioso con la distancia del tiempo que la Sport Spice sea la componente de las Spice Girls que haya llegado más lejos, aunque tampoco es para tirar cohetes lo conseguido hasta la fecha.
Yo siempre habría imaginado que si una de ellas podría tener una larga trayectoria en solitario, sería Mel B, pero su carrera ha sido bastante errática.
