Si la producción dance house de su nuevo single Sweet Nothing, quinto de 18 Months, no fuese lo suficientemente adictiva, que lo es, el británico le añadió ese gran aliciente que es contar con la colaboración vocal de la gran Florence Welch.
La líder y alma mater de Florence + the Machine no sólo pone voz a este tema, sino que protagoniza el videoclip que se acaba de estrenar.
Rodado en el Working Men’s Club de Dalston, Londres y bajo la dirección de Vincent Hayycok, anteriormente firmando vídeo de Cheryl Cole, Jamie Woon o el propio Harris, el vídeo nos transporta a los bajos fondos londinenses.
Prostíbulos con matones y prostitutas es el ambiente en el que se desarrolla la trama argumental de Sweet Nothing.
Reconozco que hasta el final del vídeo no he acabado de entender que Calvin Harris es un cliente enamorado de Florence Welch, cantante en un club de alterne.
Enamorado de ella y consciente que su actual pareja es un crápula, bonito palabro, paga a unos matones para que le den recuerdos suyos… El resultado es más que interesante.
